"Fields" was inspired by the aerial view of well-manicured farm fields in the summertime. Flying over the lands of Europe and the United States, I am always fascinated by the lines and shades of perfectly farmed fields: clean lines not always perpendicular or parallel yet crisp and created by the farmer's hand.
"Fields" was created using various weights of silk organza. Some pieces were hand dyed and others were selected from fine Italian silk. Hang "Fields" in front of a window and let the light filter through or on a wall. Definitely a unique piece to add to any art collection. Approx. 41" x 42" or 104 cm x 107 cm
